Michael Duncan
Michael Duncan is a photographer based in Maryland. He is a retired optical scientist and has been an amateur photographer for many years, working with black and white and color film, and moving to the digital world in the 1990s.
Artists statement:
I am especially interested in landscape and cityscape photography and the color, form, and textures that can be captured in those settings. I love the southwest and the colorful sandstone layers that have been exposed by erosion. I strive to take advantage of all the power of modern sensor technology and image processing software to create a compelling connection with my subjects.
